How to use NaviKey

NaviKey 2.0 is a Java applet which can be used for interactive key identification of Tuber. The applet front-end presents four panels:

 -upper left panel:  CHARACTER LIST
 -upper right panel: CHARACTER STATE
 -lower left panel:  SELECTIONS MADE
 -lower right panel: ITEM LIST

By selecting a character in the CHARACTER LIST panel a set of defining states is displayed in the CHARACTER STATE panel. If the character is of numeric type a value must be inserted in the single measurement field or in the range field followed by 'Add'. Once a selection is made it will be displayed into the SELECTIONS MADE panel and both the CHARACTER LIST and the ITEM LIST will be updated. To undo a selection previously made, highlight it and press 'Remove Selection'. To remove all selections made press 'Remove All'.
Full description of a Tuber item is displayed by highlighting an element in the ITEM LIST panel. If an image is available, it will be accessible from this window.
